*Free Medical Outreach Presentation of Assistive Devices to the Needy, Disabled and Underprivileged Members of the Society*
In continuation of the foundation community outreach across the country, the foundation carried out its free medical outreach, distribution of food stuff and education support materials (School bags, Math set, and other writing materials) to needy, disabled and less privileged members of Kili Darazo communities of Bauchi state.
The exercise was carried out at the Kili Primary School Darazo Bauchi State.
The free medical outreach was carried out by Tukur and Tukur Foundation medical team which consist of Medical Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacy, Ophthalmologists, Musical Lab Technicians and other health practitioners.
Close to 3,000 members of the communities was accredited for the exercise which consist women, men, children, aged, disabled and diagnosed for the following diseases was done and given free drugs.
-Malaria and Typhoid
-General body pain and weakness
-Diabetes Mellitus
-Hypertension
-Minor eye problems like conjunctivitis, eye pain, white eye, itching etc
-Skin and body rashes
-Cold, cough and catarrh
-Fungi infection
-Treatment of worms/Deworming
-Diarrhea
-Cholera
-Ulcer
-Pneumonia
-Prostate Hyperplasia
Others activities during the free medical outreach includes Brief talk on Health and Environmental related issues by a member of our medical team in person of Dr Bilkisu Yusuf, she talk on the important of personal and environmental hygiene, the need for family planning..
Among those witness the exercise are, Hon Jamilu Barade, Hon Bala Abdullaihi, both from Bauchi state house of assembly, chief Imam, Sarki Kili and his council executives……
The members of the communities, Imams and mai Anguwa appreciate the foundation and its leaders for finding their communities and people for such a great gesture for the first time in the history of the communities, they called on all politicians and well-meaning citizens to support the foundation and also plead with them to take the steps been taking by foundation to reach out to the less privileged members of our society to make Nigeria a better place for all….
