Tukur and Tukur Foundation, in collaboration with Kanawa Educational Foundation for the disabled has donated tricycles to students on wheelchairs, along with food items and others during 4-day event which took place at Sharada Primary Health Care Hospital.

The occasion witnessed free medical outreaches to the people of Kano Municipal Local Government from 26th to 30th, May 2021.

Through the collaboration, other free services like Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat medical services were also provided.

The chairman of Kanawa Educational Foundation For The Disabled, Ibrahim Garba Madu said “about 1,000 people benefited from the program where Medical eye glasses were given out to some 150 people, no less than 100 people received medical drugs and had ear, nose and throat surgeries, including about 21 surgeries for victims of cataract.

The collaborating team charged other philanthropic Organizations to also contribute their part to the development of society through this type of program.
